This is a wonderful piece of Americana. This lampshade appears to have a redering of the wonderful old whaling ship, The Charles W. Morgan that is on display at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut. My uncle worked there for many years, he passed away in 1971. I have never seen another one of these shades.
This shade has been in a closet for years. It is 8 1/4" Tall, the bottom is 14 1/8" across, the top is 6 1/8" across, it is 9" from top to bottom.
The coloring is slightly off white with black drawing of the ship at dock with village in background.
